Inklin ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

Inklin is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:

• Notion Access Token: When you connect your Notion account, we receive an access token that allows the app to read and write to your authorized Notion databases. This token is stored securely on your device only.
• Task Data Cache: We cache your task data locally on your device for offline access and performance. This data is not transmitted to any server other than Notion's API.
• App Configuration: Your field mappings, display preferences, and recurrence rules are stored locally on your device.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide the Inklin service:

• To sync your tasks between the app and your Notion workspace
• To manage recurring task schedules
• To display your tasks in the app interface

Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored locally on your iOS device:

• Your Notion access token is stored in the iOS Keychain, Apple's secure credential storage system
• Task data and app settings are stored using iOS's encrypted data protection
• We do not operate any backend servers that store your data
• All communication with Notion occurs directly from your device to Notion's servers over HTTPS

Third-Party Services

Inklin connects to the following third-party service:

• Notion API: We use Notion's official API to sync your tasks. Your use of Notion is subject to Notion's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Your task data flows only between your device and Notion's servers.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you:

• Disconnect your Notion account from the app
• Delete the app from your device
• Clear the app's data through iOS settings

When you disconnect your Notion account or delete the app, all locally stored data is removed from your device.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• You can disconnect your Notion account at any time in the app settings
• You can revoke Inklin's access to your Notion workspace through Notion's settings
• You can delete all local data by removing the app from your device

Children's Privacy

Inklin is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
