Welcome to Inklin. By downloading, installing, or using the Inklin app ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Inklin, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Inklin is an iOS application that provides a native interface for managing tasks stored in your Notion workspace. The app:

• Connects to your Notion account via Notion's official OAuth authentication
• Reads and writes task data to your authorized Notion databases
• Stores task data locally on your device for offline access
• Manages recurring task schedules locally on your device

3. Account Requirements

To use Inklin, you must:

• Have a valid Notion account
• Authorize Inklin to access your Notion workspace
• Have at least one task database in your Notion workspace

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Notion account credentials.

4. Subscription and Payment

Inklin is offered as a subscription service:

• Payment is processed through Apple's App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
• Use automated systems to access the app in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Share or transfer your subscription to others

6. Notion Integration

Inklin relies on Notion's API to function. You acknowledge that:

• Notion may change, limit, or discontinue their API at any time
• Your use of Notion is subject to Notion's own Terms of Service
• We are not responsible for changes to Notion's service that affect Inklin's functionality
• Notion is the source of truth for your task data; Inklin is a companion interface

7. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all task data and content in your Notion workspace. By using Inklin, you grant us permission to access and modify your Notion data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Sync with Notion will always be successful
• Your data will never be lost (always maintain backups through Notion)

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the app.

10. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the app at any time
• Update these Terms at any time
• Change subscription pricing with reasonable notice

Continued use of the app after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Inklin at any time by:

• Cancelling your subscription through the App Store
• Deleting the app from your device
• Revoking Inklin's access in your Notion settings

We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
